URBAN RESTAURANT LOSING SHARE
This gigantic patio bar and restaurant had always focused on selling good times, not necessarily on breaking new culinary ground with their menu. It was famous as a great place to hang out after work. As new competitors entered the marketplace and the economy tanked, they watched sales erode. In order to shore up their market share and hopefully gain new ground, the restaurant’s owners felt the time was right to deploy new marketing tactics.
GOAL: Remind customers why they fell in love with this restaurant and stay top-of-mind.
RESULTS:
Used social media to communicate with current and new customers.
Streamlined email marketing, improving open and click-through rates.
Updated web content.
Worked with operations leaders to execute special events that would bring new customers in.
Returned revenues to pre-engagement levels.
