After 18 years in the hospitality business, I decided to build a business doing the things I loved best from my job as a director of sales and marketing for five hotels. Having spent hours creating and executing strategy for hotels, restaurants, and a catering company, I’ve learned a lot. And, after launching my second multi-million dollar new construction hotel in 2009, I wanted to use my enthusiam, energy, and experience to work with diverse clients on projects of every scale. My mission is simple: do something I love; give small businesses, artists, and non-profits the tools they need; and hopefully make a living!

I am a Certified Meeting Planner and have won plenty of hotel sales and marketing awards. My Bachelor of Arts degree is in English Literature, and I’ve had lots of post-grad sales and marketing training. More than my experience and education, my drive and creativity are what will make HIVE an asset to your business. From working 100+ hours a week running an offsite catering company to giving the round-the-clock attention an opening hotel requires, I’ve always worked hard and thrown myself into projects heart and soul.
